After taking over from the previous owners at the start of Covid, SHIRLS Shakes has gone from strength to strength.
Going from a normal milkshake shop only serving shakes and coffee to offering a range of Desserts, Slushies, Mr Whippy, Bubble Waffles as well as our selection of Brownies, Cookie Dough, Cakes and even adding "The Little Sweet Shop" stocking Pick n Mix, Candy, Drinks and Treats from around the globe.
Making it your one stop treat shop in Barnard Castle and the surrounding area.
Don't fancy a milkshake? That ok, pop in anyway as we have plenty of choice to keep everyone happy....

Last year we were going to also take over the shop next door, when the tennants retired. It was a sweet shop for many years as we thought it would be a shame to loose it. It didn't quite work out as someone else pipped us to the post, however we had already bought stock and storage for all the sweets.... so with that in mind we decided to add "The Little Sweet Shop" inside of SHIRLS.... because thats exactly what it is..... a little sweet shop!
Just because it's little it doesn't mean it's not full... we have all your usual pick n mix, with some American candy and other treats from around the world as well as mixed sweet pouches in different sizes, all made up ready for you to take away!
